Anny and I met in 6th grade. We both played basketball and field hockey together in middle school and into high school. We shared the same home room and various classes together. I always remember Anny as smart, fun, adventurous and loving sports. And I remember having wonderful memories of sleepovers and hangouts on her beautiful farm.
We lost touch after high school until she said “Yes!” to a fellow doctor, Buddy, whom she had met through mutual friends.
As Anny was finishing her residency as a dermatologist, she planned her backyard wedding on the Lancaster County farm which held such special memories for her.
Anny wanted to use childhood and college friends who are in the wedding industry to help make her wedding come to life. And I was elated to reconnect. Especially since I always loved her family farm!
Anny envisioned incorporating lots of beautiful and natural touches to their day, all the while keep a very natural, yet simplistic style to their day. Her color palette was a perfect pale pink and complimenting soft greens.
The weather for their September wedding was absolutely perfect.
A friend married them under two trees. Anny made a grand appearance by horse and carriage. And Long trailing garlands of eucalyptus greens with roses, complimented the tables with mix-matched place settings and candles.
And they finished the evening sending luminaries into the night sky. How romantic is this!?!
It truly was a perfect day on their perfect farm. Thank you, Anny, for inviting us to take part in your special day!! Xx
